Poker Tells: Double Checking Your Hole Cards After The Flop
When your opponent re-checks his hole cards after a flop it is a tell that your opponent may be on a draw. If there are three diamonds on the flop and your opponent checks his hole cards again he is checking to see if he has a single diamond. Players usually remember if they have two cards of the same suit and don't have to look a second time in this case. It is when players have two different suits that they are more likely to forget which suits they have. To avoid doing this myself I always re-check my hole cards every hand just before the flop.
